It is recommended that septic systems be pumped at least once every three years. Proper care of your septic system will help ensure it's useful life. Overuse by doing many loads of wash during a short period of time or flushing large bulky items down the commode can lead to malfunctioning of the system.
The Township office has booklets on the care of septic systems. Please call 665-3827 if you would like to have one sent to you.
