The Board of Supervisors are elected by the residents of Rapho Township and serve a 6-year term. The terms of office are staggered, with one Supervisor term up for election every two years. The Board of Supervisors meet twice a month. They set the fees and rates of the various services performed and permits issued, as well as approve or deny final subdivision and land development plans, based on recommendation of the township Planning Commission. They approve disbursements and financial transactions for the operation of the Township. They approve resolutions or changes to the various ordinances, and approve the roadwork to be completed each year. They address resident complaints and appoint the manager and zoning officer, Planning Commission members, Zoning Hearing Board members, Township solicitor and Zoning Hearing Board solicitor, township engineer and Sewage Enforcement Officer. This Board can render final decisions on everything regarding the Township except the tax rates and the Zoning Hearing Board decisions.
