ROAD CLOSURE
The bridge on Strickler Road remains closed.
Weather permitting, westbound Route 283 will be closed
at the Route 230/Mount Joy Exit at 9:00 PM Friday, November 17,
and is expected to reopen no later than 6:00 AM Monday, November 20.

open in its temporary location
at the Mastersonville Fire Company, which is located at
2121 Meadow View Road Manheim.
Business hours will be 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM - Monday - Friday.All public meetings will be held at East Fairview Church of the Brethren

YARD WASTE FACILITYRapho Township is pleased to announce that the Mount Joy Borough/ East Donegal Township Compost Site, 200 S. Jacob St, Mount Joy has graciously agreed to allow our residents with woody yard waste key fobs to utilize their woody yard waste facility while Rapho Township’s Facility is unavailable. The hours are dawn to dusk 7 days a week. We have been able to enter all but 50 Rapho Township’s residents’ key fob credentials into the Mount Joy system for seamless access. Those residents whose credentials could not be entered have been contacted by Rapho Township Staff to obtain a new credential.
We recommend Rapho Residents with key fobs make their first visit to the Mount Joy Borough compost site location during Rapho Township office hours of 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and call 717-665-3827 if they have difficulty accessing the yard.
We thank Mount Joy Borough for their generosity in allowing our residents to access this site and Rapho Township staff for their tireless data entry to make this process as easy as possible for our residents.

YARD WASTE FACILITYFrom East Main St, Mount Joy, turn on to S. Barbara St, make a left onto E. Donegal St, then a right onto S. Jacob St. Follow S. Jacob St until you can go no further. Arrive at the compost facility.

Many residents have called the office to inquire about the operating procedures at LCSWMA. Below is important information concerning their procedures at this time, as well as a very informative flier.
LCSWMA’s COVID Changes/Reminders Effective Monday, April 20, all visitors and customers are required to wear a mask when visiting LCSWMA facilities. Those without a mask will be turned away. All LCSWMA facilities are closed on Saturdays until further notice. Our Main Office remains closed to visitors, but please call 717-397-9968 between the hours of 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday to speak to a LCSWMA representative.
