When do I need a Driveway Permit?: A Driveway Permit is needed whenever any work is done to your driveway where it meets a township road. This work includes widening your driveway, reconstructing your driveway or repaving an existing driveway as well as constructing a new driveway. If your driveway work does not meet a township road, you will need to obtain a Zoning Permit. Please contact the township office for details.

1. How do I contact the Public Works Department?: You can call the Township office at 717-665-3827.

3. Who do I contact if a Streelight is out or globe is missing?: You will contact PPL Electric Co. at 1-888-342-5775, select option 1 to report a streetlight out or a globe missing. Information you to give PPL will be the address location and pole number located on the streetlight pole.

4. Is there anything I need to do before Digging in my yard?: Yes. You will need to call PA One Call Systems as this could be an area you are about to dig up could have underground service lines or pipes. PA One Call can tell you where these underground services are located. Call 811 or 1-800-242-1776 before you dig.
